I stayed at Butlers Townhouse during a short trip to Dublin and was very pleased. The hotel is located in the prestigious area of Ballsbridge, directly opposite the Aviva stadium, which provided easy access to the main attractions of the city. The nearest DART station is Lansdowne Road, just 5 minutes walk away. The room was cozy and decorated in a Victorian style, with quality furniture and linens. The staff were friendly and helpful. The self-check-in process was simple and convenient, and the instructions were clear. The hotel also provides free parking, which is rare for the city center. Overall, Butlers Townhouse is a great choice for those looking for comfortable and stylish accommodation in the center of Dublin. Recommended for tourists and business travelers.

Beautiful townhouse. Clean. Close to the embassies, bus stop and Dart train station. If you want to be a bit farther from the noisy center and be close to the well groomed embassies area. Big comfortable bed, beautiful living room / common area. A little cold in the bedroom even with the snall electric heater provided. There is no or not enough central heating. Paying cash was not possible even though there us 24/7 reception. Not convenient. Check in instructions / door codes sent last min by phone. May not be convenient for international guests with roaming charges. They need to send it in advance to accommodate travelers coming out of EU.

Loved EVERYTHING!!! Not only was the room super comfortable and clean, the location was amazing! About 30 minutes walk from Dublin city centre, so close enough to go out and far away enough to explore other parts of the city. Down the road from the townhouse you'll find Aviva Stadium, home of Irish Rugby, down another road you'll find fantastic restaurants and walks and a park with an excellent food market on Sunday's and down a side road you'll find the filming location for Kin. This is a great find and totally worth the cost.

We really appreciated the fact we could keep our luggage at the reception because we arrived early in the morning. The receptionist, Ashley, was very nice and helpful! My mum (who I was travelling with) thought that the room was way too small butI was satisfied 😄 The fact that we were able to check-out ourselves was great since we had to leave at 3AM for the airport. The hotel was very close to a train station which was amazing. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and will definitely repeat it sometime in the future!

The house is an old mansion, very comfortable. The rooms are huge. Although they are not modern, they are very cozy. The bathroom, although not new, is spacious and clean. The bed is excellent, and the cleanliness is good. There is no reception service, but they provide all the necessary information for a self-check-in. The location is about 20 minutes from the city center, but the area is very quiet, which is great for those who want a peaceful night's sleep.
